Happy Heart Day!!!

The Ted Varscki Video – minus the final scene that pulls it all together but still….

Take a look at a short I filmed with a few guys from Boulder – No Budget Productions. They were a riot to work with and we have some other shoots scheduled for the upcoming weeks. The camera decided to stop working for the final scene but here’s what we have so far….Let me know what you think.

Here’s a couple of pictures from the shoot for Creme de la Couture with Mark Woolcott. It was a lot of fun with fantastic couture clothes. It was also a chance to shoot with my beautiful friend Meagan. I can’t wait for our next one!

Fashion Blog is up and running….sort of

So the fashion blog is live although still in beginning stages. We’ll be trying to update it every week with something new so check back often!  www.nouvogue.com

Week of January 30th, 2012

Life has been moving right along so here’s a few highlights.

 • The fashion blog isn’t quite ready unfortunately but hopefully it should be up and running in the next week or two. I wrote three blogs for it and I’m not quite sure if they’ll all come out at once or weekly but I’ll post the link once it’s live.
 • I got the job for the skincare company doing their videos. I’m so excited! We’re aiming to start in mid February doing a variety of videos aimed towards at the retail level and then later on hopefully do more aimed at the consumer level.
 • The short with the Boulder guys hasn’t come out yet and neither have I seen any pics from my last shoot. I hate waiting. I am so impatient.
 • I have a fun shoot tomorrow with the awesome Mark Woolcott modeling clothes from Creme de la Couture. I did some other modeling for them in the past and they’re a great couple of women to work with. I’m meeting with the store, Mark and my beautiful friend/model Meagan today to try on some various styles and see what we want to aim for tomorrow.
 • On a sadder note, I had to quit one of my web series. Although I loved doing it, I just decided it wasn’t quite the direction I wanted to go in my career. It was also quite time consuming so I was missing out on some good auditions and other jobs. I’m hopefully going to be able to work with them again from time to time as I really enjoyed my experience.
 • Here’s the latest Boulder Edge TV. Enjoy!
Week of January 22nd, 2012

Hey everyone!

It was a great week last week. I started working on my first fashion blogs, which may be coming online as soon as this week. We have the website  ready to go so check back and I’ll keep you posted as to when the site is live. I had so much fun doing this so I hope the three of you that read this blog, will read the other one as well…or at least one of you, Mom.

Last week I auditioned for an awesome group of guys that do SNL-esque video shorts in Boulder. They are compiling about 20 of them to start releasing in March (hopefully) and today I was lucky enough to be involved. They were awesome! I had to be in Boulder at 6 AM this morning, which required me to leave the house by 5 AM but it was worth it. They were so funny and absolute professionals. I’m thrilled that I get to be part of this group and I look forward to our next shoot, which will be in a couple of weeks. I honestly think these guys are going to be something big. They are truly talented. I’ll post links once they’re up on YouTube so you can judge for yourself.

I did a shoot for a gamer magazine last week and filmed a second episode of the web series I’m doing so overall it was a busy week. Have I mentioned how I love being busy? Let me just say it again. I LOVE being busy!

I also talked to a company about doing all of their training videos. If that comes to fruition it would be a dream come true. They sell equipment to spas so products for non invasive body sculpting, electro-ionization and bio-electric rejuvenation. Considering I LOVE this type of stuff, this is right up my alley. Check back and I’ll let you know how it turns but keep your fingers crossed. I am.

Another episode of Boulder Edge TV came out last Thursday. You can sign up for their newsletter and they’ll send the latest Boulder Edge to your email once it comes out. I also posted it here.

The Boulder Edge – Episode 3 and a few musings…

Here’s the latest webisode of The Boulder Edge. I hope you enjoy watching it since I really enjoy doing it and I think it’s such a great resource for the Boulder community.

I doubt anyone reads this blog but I’m bored and enjoy writing so here are a few things that happened in my week. In addition to filming The Boulder Edge on Tuesday I also filmed some additional scenes for the other web series I’m involved with. We’ve made a few changes in the direction we’re taking the show and hope to have a Wild on Colorado feel to it with some additional host/cameraman interaction. It’s a great group of people and has been a fantastic learning experience for me, allowing me to explore more character development and see the entire web series development from inception to completion of our first episode. Doing two web series and spending two days a week filming has been a dream come true. It’s the best and I’m silly addicted and always looking for more ways to work doing what I love.

In addition to that I’m also talking to a photographer about collaborating on a fashion blog. A fashion blog isn’t necessarily something that’s crossed my mind before but I’m excited about the opportunity and can’t wait to talk to him more. I LUF fashion (a term meaning to especially love something, standing for in this case Love U Fashion) and being able to search it out and write about it seems like a natural progression to modeling. Keep your fingers crossed that I’m selected. I’ve realized how much I enjoy  collaborating with smart, creative people. They bring out the best in me. I have a slew of great ideas (at least my mom thinks they’re great) but it’s often  the implementation that stumps me.  The collaborations I’ve been involved with have been phenomenal providing more opportunities than I could have ever foreseen and I hope to work with many more talented people in the upcoming year.

The last two weeks of December were so busy and you’ll never hear me complaining about that! I had a video shoot with Kaiser Permanent on one day and that was fantastic. I’ve worked with Kaiser at least four times now and the people never cease to amaze me with their professionalism and great attitudes.  We also filmed The Boulder Edge one day and the Soft and Curvy web series another day.

In addition to all that awesomeness I got to shoot twice with one of my favorite photographers, Mark Stevens,  as well as another photog favorite, Mark Woolcott, who is absolutely amazing! Below are a couple of pictures from the movement shoot I did with Mark Stevens and further down more on my shoot with Mark Woolcott. Happy New Year!

I’ve teamed up with an awesome photographer named Mark Woolcott. Check out his site at www.markwoolcottphotography.com. We’re doing a new shoot every month and we’re always looking for new models so send me an email if you’re interested in being considered. Below are some shots from our December shoot at Belmar Ice Rink.

Week of December 19th, 2011

Last week I started filming the Soft and Curvy show, a web series sitcom with a show inside a show. It turned out awesome and we had a blast making the show. The first webisode should be out sometime in January, I’ll keep you posted. Also, check back next week since I plan on posting some behind the scenes video from our shoot this week.

The second edition of Boulder Edge TV came out last Thursday. Be sure to check www.boulderedgetv.com every first and third Thursday to see the newest edition. You can also sign up for the newsletter and they’ll send you the Boulder Edge so you don’t have to remember to check the website. I’m so happy to be able to host this great resource for the Boulder community.
